PT Tirta Asasta Depok tengah bersiap untuk mitigasi jelang musim kemarau panjang yang diprediksi datang lebih awal.
Direktur Utama PT Tirta Asasta Depok, M. Olik Abdul Holik mengatakan, pihaknya sudah mempersiapkan mitigasi musim kemarau dalam upaya melayani pelanggan atau konsumen.
Dikatakannya, pihaknya sudah mempersiapkan intake PDAM yang ada di Sunga Ciliwung dan lokasi lainnya.
“Intake adalah bangunan penangkap air baku dari sumber air permukaan (sungai, danau) menuju instalasi pengolahan air. Mitigasi yang akan dilakukan adalah menjaga intake yang dimiliki PDAM agar bisa tetap menampung air yang kemudian distribusikan kepada konsumen,” ujarnya.
Ia menambahkan, produksi air baku PDAM sangat bergantung pada aliran Kali Ciliwung. Oleh karena itu pihaknya berupaya semaksimal mungkin untuk terus menjaga kebersihan dan ekosistem yang berada di Ciliwung.

“Cadangan air yang sudah dibangun Cimanggis tahun ini, kita akan bangun di Cipayung untuk cadangan airnya,” ungkapnya.
Dengan adanya mitigasi tersebut diharapkan distribusi air PDAM ke pelanggan dapat tersalurkan dengan aman dan nyaman.
Sebelumnya, PT Tirta Asasta Depok melaksanakan aksi susur Sungai Ciliwung sebagai bentuk nyata kepedulian terhadap keberlangsungan sumber air baku di wilayah Kota Depok.
Dia menjelaskan, secara umum kondisi air Sungai Ciliwung masih tergolong baik dan layak untuk diolah menjadi air bersih. Meski demikian, terdapat tantangan signifikan yang kerap muncul pada musim hujan.
“Secara rata-rata kondisi air Ciliwung masih cukup baik. Yang jadi kendala biasanya saat banjir, karena kekeruhannya tinggi sehingga kita tidak bisa produksi secara optimal. Tapi Alhamdulillah, kondisi seperti itu tidak terlalu sering terjadi,” tukasnya.
Ia menambahkan, gangguan produksi akibat tingginya tingkat kekeruhan air hanya terjadi beberapa kali dalam setahun, sehingga secara umum pasokan air bersih masih dapat terjaga dengan baik.

PT Tirta Asasta Depok is preparing for mitigation ahead of the long dry season that is predicted to arrive earlier.
The President Director of PT Tirta Asasta Depok, M. Olik Abdul Holik, said that they have prepared dry season mitigation in order to serve customers.
He stated that they have prepared PDAM intake facilities located in the Ciliwung River and other locations.
“Intake is a structure that captures raw water from surface water sources (rivers, lakes) and conveys it to water treatment installations. The mitigation to be carried out is to maintain the PDAM intake so that it can continue to collect water which is then distributed to consumers,” he said.
He added that PDAM's raw water production heavily depends on the flow of the Ciliwung River. Therefore, they strive to maintain the cleanliness and ecosystem of the Ciliwung as much as possible.
He said that one of the mitigations implemented to serve the community is to increase water reserves.
“The water reserve built in Cimanggis this year, we will build in Cipayung for its water reserve,” he revealed.
With these mitigations, it is hoped that PDAM water distribution to customers can be delivered safely and comfortably.
Previously, PT Tirta Asasta Depok carried out a river cleaning action on the Ciliwung River as a tangible expression of concern for the sustainability of raw water sources in the Depok City area.
He explained that, in general, the water condition of the Ciliwung River is still fairly good and suitable for processing into clean water. However, there are significant challenges that often arise during the rainy season.
“On average, the water condition of the Ciliwung is still quite good. The usual obstacle occurs during floods, because the turbidity is high, preventing us from producing optimally. But thank God, such conditions do not happen very often,” he said.
He added that production disruptions due to high water turbidity only occur a few times a year, so overall the clean water supply can still be well maintained.
In his view, maintaining a healthy river ecosystem is the key to ensuring the sustainability of clean water supply for the community. (TA/07/04/2026)
